A tensegrity table “floats” above everything

The sponsoring association of the Federal Technical College for Concrete Workers awarded prizes for the masterpieces of the past year. The “Concrete Block Award for Design 2023” goes to Patrick Schefe from Ellerau. His “floating” table, known as the “Tensegrity Table”, which seems to defy the laws of physics, impressed the jury not only with the underlying design idea, but also with its perfect craftsmanship. The sponsoring association of the Federal College for Concrete Workers (FBB) awarded a “commendation” to the “Tavola della Vita” made by Raffael Hess from St. Wendel – another exciting table project that also stands out due to its original design.
