A total of five young people received the Young Talent Award for Concrete Components for their outstanding performance in the final examination in 2023. Uwe Sommer, Chairman of the Berufsf\u00f6rderungswerk f\u00fcr die Beton- und Fertigteilhersteller e. V. (BBF) in Ostfildern, and Dr. Katharina Gei\u00dfend\u00f6rfer from the Eberhard Sch\u00f6ck Foundation in Baden-Baden, presented the award.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><br>The winners of the Concrete Components 2023 Young Talent Award and their training companies are<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><br>Tobias Hollenbach<br>F.C. N\u00fcdlingen Betonelemente GmbH &amp; Co KG<br>Process mechanic in the non-metallic minerals industry<br>Specializing in prefabricated concrete products<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><br>Julian Haase<br>Betonbau BBD GmbH<br>Precast concrete constructor<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><br>Daniel Heckl<br>AL-Franken-Fertigteil GmbH<br>Precast concrete element manufacturer<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><br>Florian Sengenberger<br>BFT Bayreuth GmbH<br>Prefabricated concrete element manufacturer<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><br>Evren Zorlu<br>Rinn Beton und Naturstein GmbH &amp; Co. KG<br>Process mechanic in the non-metallic minerals industry<br>Specializing in prefabricated concrete products<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><br>They are among the around 200 young people who have opted for training in the industry-specific professions &#8211; precast concrete worker, toolmaker or process mechanic in the non-metallic minerals industry specializing in precast concrete products. The precast concrete industry offers interesting jobs, but as in many other sectors of the economy, companies are struggling with falling apprentice numbers. &#8220;We need qualified specialists like you to strengthen the competitiveness of our industry and meet the challenges of the future,&#8221; said the BBF Chairman to the award winners. He also expressly thanked those responsible from the training companies and vocational schools for their commitment. &#8220;They have also contributed to the success of the award winners. You have accompanied, supported and motivated them along the way and created the necessary framework conditions,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><br>Dr. Katharina Gei\u00dfend\u00f6rfer praised the trainees for their perseverance, talent, hard work and dedication during their training, without which such an outstanding achievement would not have been possible. &#8220;With the Young Talent Award for Concrete Components, we want to promote the visibility and appreciation of young people in the building trade and highlight the interesting future prospects associated with these professions,&#8221; she emphasized.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><br>The winners of the Concrete Components Young Talent Award each received a prize of \u20ac500.
