A total of three young people were able to enjoy the 2022 Concrete Components Young Talent Award on account of their outstanding achievements. Uwe Sommer, Chairman of the Berufsf\u00f6rderungswerk f\u00fcr die Beton- und Fertigteilhersteller e. V. (BBF) in Ostfildern, and Peter M\u00f6ller, Managing Director of the Eberhard Sch\u00f6ck Foundation (ESST) in Baden-Baden, presented the award. The winners of the 2022 Concrete Components Young Talent Award are:<br\/><br\/><strong>Patrick Hofmann<br\/>H + L Baustoffwerke GmbH, Uehlfeld<\/strong><br\/>Process mechanic in the stone-earth industry<br\/>Specialization precast concrete products<br\/><br\/><strong>Vincent K\u00e4ser<br\/>Enke Schachtbaugesellschaft mbH<\/strong><br\/>Precast concrete builder<br\/><br\/><strong>Henning K\u00f6ster<br\/>M\u00f6nninghoff GmbH &amp; Co KG, Senden<\/strong><br\/>Process mechanic in the stone-earth industry<br\/>Specialization precast concrete products<br\/><br\/><strong>Christian miller<br\/>informbeton GmBH, Schwepnitz<\/strong><br\/>Precast concrete builder<br\/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br\/>They are among around 240 young people who have opted for training in the industry-specific occupations. Whether precast concrete worker:in, cast stone manufacturer:in or process mechanic:in precast concrete products, the precast concrete industry offers interesting jobs.<br\/><br\/>&#8220;With this award, we want to show that training in the skilled trades offers young people excellent opportunities for the future. They can continue their education, they can become master craftsmen and later take on management positions. This also and especially applies to our today&#8217;s award winners. The companies in the precast concrete industry are waiting for well-trained and motivated skilled workers, they are waiting for you, dear award winners, and they offer you many opportunities and possibilities for your professional and personal future,&#8221; said Peter M\u00f6ller at the award ceremony.<br\/><br\/>Uwe Sommer was also pleased about the new specialists. &#8220;We need you to strengthen the competitiveness of our industry and meet the challenges of the future, such as digitalization and climate-friendly construction.&#8221; He also thanked those responsible from the training companies and vocational schools. &#8220;You all have a share in the success. You have accompanied, supported and motivated your trainees along the way and created the necessary framework conditions. You can be justifiably proud of them.&#8221;<br\/><br\/>The winners of the Concrete Components Young Talent Award each received a prize of \u20ac500. They will also be allowed to participate in BBF&#8217;s next study tour to Switzerland in 2024 at no cost. A technical excursion is also planned for them in the fall, including a visit to Sch\u00f6ck Bauteile GmbH in Baden-Baden and Albert Regenold GmbH in B\u00fchl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The Berufsf\u00f6rderungswerk f\u00fcr die Beton- und Fertigteilhersteller e. V. (BBF) was founded in 1979. The Eberhard Sch\u00f6ck Foundation was founded in 1992 and mainly carries out projects for the modernization of vocational training in the precast concrete industry and the concrete block trade in Eastern Europe.
